Happy National Women's Day!

Recently I shared about the Goddess yoga to be held later today, and had an interesting comment said, "don't we celebrate women enough on Valentine's and Mother's Day?" I simply replied how we had the last workshop of "Share the Love" partnered yoga and planning on a mommy and me yoga closer to Mother's Day weekend.

I don't know about you, but I feel like today is a day (not like it couldn't be every day like this) where you can reach out to a woman in your life and say "hey you badass! You are awesome! You are beautiful! I love you!" Just simply said things, it doesn't need to be anything fancy. I think no matter what age in life we are always constantly seeing if we are keeping up with one another, over analyzing or overthinking. In reality your only competition is yourself, it's not selfish to put yourself first in order to be able to be happy in life.

As women, our role can be nurturing, caring, loving, supportive in our friendships, relationships, family, and community. Sometimes it hard to ask for help or realize what we are missing by continuously working, providing, being the one that is there for others. If this sounds familiar I ask you to check in on your woman friends/family from time to time. It might be a coffee break, a weekend call, or just a funny GIF that might make their day.

Happy International Women's Day to the women out there who are always there for others, with an open heart and caring soul!

"When we inspire others to understand and value women's inclusion, we forge a better world.

And when women themselves are inspired to be included, there's a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment.

Collectively, let's forge a more inclusive world for women."
