Megan Breza Patchell | MAY 1, 2024

Every month (or almost every month) I like to offer something special to the community on embracing yoga, health, and wellness in a new and unique way. For the month of May it is embracing spring of new growth, new beginnings of flowers, nature is buzzing with more greens and activity and creativity. No better way than to focus on the Sacral Chakra for this event.

The Sacral chakra located of our sacrum (pelvic floor) is our center of creativity and sexuality nature. In a physical sense this area is responsible is for our reproductive and urinary health. This is where the mocktails come in.

Mocktails are a fun way to add taste and health benefits to your health. At this workshop we will share with you recipes and information that improve hydration and utilizing healthy ingredients, take home some recipes to improve hydration and urinary health (you know you love this stuff!).

We will be sharing three sacral chakras inspired mocktails to share with you. You get to vote your favorite one to see who made the best mocktail! Can you guess any ingredients we might be using?

My mocktail will be incorporating Lavendar which has been known to be a sleep aid, however it also has benefits of easing the digestive tract.

Other ways to maintain hydration can be done through other beverages throughout the day and some food choices such as ...

When we talk about the Sacral Chakra in terms of our emotional, mental, and spiritual health is can result in lack of the creativity and sexuality through blockages.

When the sacral chakra is blocked; we can experience detachment, isolation, anxiety, loneliness, low libido, lack of creative inspiration, co-dependency, feeling overwhelmed by emotions, difficulty expressing emotions, needs, and creativity. Have you ever had thoughts like this? Focusing on the right mantra for you can help you meditate and give you mental clarity on how to unblock these thoughts.

Mantras can serve as powerful tools for self-improvement by providing focus and intention. When repeated regularly, a mantra can reinforce positive beliefs and behaviors, helping to cultivate qualities like patience, compassion, or resilience.

Creating your own Mantra some ideas of what we will be discussing is .... What's your why? What embraces your creativity, and how do we bring our spirits up when we are feeling stuck in the mud with our connection to others.

Once we have completed our mantra exercise, yoga practice (which will be all about hip opening for all levels of ability) we will relax into our Shavasana practice with the guided meditation and crystal sound bath for relaxation.

Can't wait to see you there! Don't forget to register!
