The Sturgeon Moon is named this for the time of fishing sturgeon in the Great Lakes is abundance around this time of year.

During this lunar series this is a symbol of abundance and prosperity to the sturgeon moon this is also during the time of year where we harvest crops as we think towards the fall season this is where the seasons start to change. This is also a time for gratitude appreciation of the blessings in one's life. This is a good time to reflect and to bring your awareness of gratitude towards your blessings and your life. Oftentimes it is easy to compare someone else's life especially on social media, but it doesn't give you the whole picture everyone is dealing with something it's how you can control your thoughts your intentions your mindset on how you want to direct your life.

For this series this is a time for you to focus on physical and emotional healing for our yoga practice we will be focusing on the solar plexus chakra confidence courage and inner strength.
