Sweat & Stretch: Hot Yoga drop in price

We are going to be offering hot yoga class "Sweat and Stretch." Hot yoga is a type of yoga practice that takes place in a heated room, typically set between 90°F to 105°F (32°C to 40°C). The heat is meant to mimic the environment of India, where yoga originated, and is designed to help increase flexibility, promote sweating, and encourage deeper muscle release.
In a hot yoga class, you might practice styles like Bikram yoga (which follows a specific set of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises) or a more general Vinyasa or Hatha style of yoga, with the added challenge of the heat.

Benefits of Hot Yoga:

  • Increased Flexibility: The warmth helps to loosen muscles, which can make it easier to stretch and deepen poses.
  • Detoxification: The heat encourages sweating, which is thought to help flush out toxins from the body.
  • Improved Circulation: The heat encourages blood flow, which can improve oxygen and nutrient delivery to your muscles.
  • Calorie Burning: Because the body works harder in a heated environment, hot yoga can be more physically demanding, potentially leading to higher calorie expenditure.
  • Mental Focus: The heat can create a challenge that requires mental discipline, which can enhance focus and mindfulness.

Things to Keep in Mind:

  • Hydration is Key: Since you'll be sweating a lot, it’s important to stay hydrated before, during, and after your session.
  • Not for Everyone: Those with heart conditions, respiratory issues, or heat sensitivity should check with a doctor before trying hot yoga.

Have you ever tried hot yoga, or are you thinking of giving it a go? It can be intense, but a lot of people love how invigorating it feels!
